The aim of the first phase II study was to compare the residual efficacy of the new formulations developed by Bayer with the WHO recommended IRS formulations. The purpose of the second study was to evaluate the efficacy of unwashed, 20-wash, insecticide-treated VECTA prototype net samples using the pyrethroid-susceptible Anopheles gambiae and resistant An. coluzzii test methods. These projects were carried out at the Laboratory of Insecticide Tests (LTI) within the Institut de Recherche en Sciences de la Santé, Direction Regionale de l’Ouest (IRSS-DRO) under the supervision of Abdoulaye DIABATE, Director of Research and PI of the projects
